Twenty One Pilots burst on the scene because of the success of their firstĀ self-titled album in 2009. The lead drummer came to the group in 2011, after leaving the ChristianĀ alternative rock group House of Heroes.

The band’s most recent work “Blurryface” came in 2015 and shows they have crafted their skills and creativity to create some amazing music.

As a result of their recent success, the band has been nominated for not one, but three grammy awards in 2017.

Grammy nominations for the band include Best Pop Duo, Rock Performance and Record of the Year.

Twenty One Pilots’ song “Heathens” was recorded for the soundtrack of the DC Comics Suicide Squad film. As a result, the song brought the group to a more mainstream audience.

Seems like the future looks good for the emerging band and we wish them all the best in the future.

Listen to some Twenty One Pilots music below and let us know in the comments if you think they are deserving of the Grammy nominations.
