Everybody loves bacon for breakfast or guilty pleasure snack. It’s not hard to cook but there are methods to make perfect bacon.
What happens and when you take a bite of bacon and it’s dry and crumbling or tough and brittle? You may suddenly lose your appetite and not enjoy your meal.
This is a tried and true way to make bacon crisp and tender.
Using a pan, place the bacon in water high enough to cover it. The water will keep the cooking temperature low and gentle. This ensures the meat retains moisture and is tender. By the time the water reaches its boiling point, lower the heat immediately to medium the wait for the water to simmer away. Turn the heat to medium-low and cook until the bacon is crisp and browned.
This method makes it easier to burn off the fat without actually burning the meat.
The deliciously soft and crisp bacon is ready to eat.
